Obsidian Stage
In an exclusive South African residence, Officine Gullo has designed a custom-made kitchen with a bold visual presence that perfectly balances design, innovation, and craftsmanship.
The centrepiece of the space is a large matte Obsidian steel island with brushed brass detailing. On the working side, the island includes a cooking zone with maxi burners, frytop, oven, and integrated glass-front cabinets; on the social side, it features stools and open shelving. A suspended pyramidal hood adds an elegant architectural focal point. The kitchen is completed by a wall composition of storage and built-in appliances, centred around the washing area.
This project represents a unique vision of kitchen living, merging artisanal mastery and advanced design to achieve both professional functionality and refined elegance. Every element, from proportions to material selection, demonstrates a meticulous pursuit of timeless beauty, creating an exclusive environment where cutting-edge technology meets traditional craftsmanship for a truly exceptional culinary experience.
